HIV/AIDS awareness for adolescents in selected

through school-based workshops for direct risk
reduction instructions, and activities to enhance
self-confidence, and self-esteem.
Within
the Benjamin Franklin, Strawberry Mansion and
William Penn public school clusters, a series
of workshops are held to disseminate information
on the following topics:
- What is HIV/AIDS
- HIV/AIDS Prevention Methods
- Peer Pressure
- How to become empowered
The
goal of the HIV/AIDS Risk Reduction Program
is to provide comprehensive risk reduction services
to adolescents in order to prevent them from
contracting HIV/AIDS or other sexually transmitted
diseases.
